My Sportbike – TL1000R My Personal Project finished 2009
My motorcycle is Suzuki TL1000R.
………………………………..You will say that it is not something special, old bike, old tehnology……..?No… for this bike have a lot of tuning and DIY MOD’s ho can make it really monster!
I can speech long long time for SUZUKI TL1000R ……………………….just I LOVE This BIKE
Suzuki TL1000R.
……………………………….. This motorcycle is not very new, and is not with the latest technology, but when you meet him, to understand the sole purpose of what was created, understand technology and thought invested in the design and its creation – he falls incredibly! Here in this issue will introduce you to one of best specimens in the world – that my bike is bone much physical labor for many hours, many major investment at least for my financial means and technical solutions rather that I applied on a humble experience that I have!
Here is something shared by the world and our forum for this type of motorcycle:
“………………………………….. 1000V2 – This bike is not for beginners or for people who have experienced modest or limited technical training / ability. It is neither the first nor the second bike. This is the bike with the temper of gypsy, a little voice harpy, manners of the angry lion and the appeal of the mermaid. requires much self-control and sober mind to primitive prevail against over his sex appeal to your attributes to open the throttle … just to hear the roaring while fly in space ………………. Expect idiotic smile a helmet that will unite the two corners of the mouth behind the crown. Expect to be felt as doting lout who never imagined that is in you until you until you hear little voice the “mower” Prepare for a lot of attention, a desirable or unwanted. Prepare to trial willpower that exceeds your wildest idea … and an endless tango around the bends, which will forever remember ……………… Yup , a viral infection … .. Very well said. survived only those who actually sober and assessed their abilities! “
I can talk long about this motorcycle SUZUKI TL1000R ………………………. just do not know and I did it – I love this motorcycle, and as far as I know and every owner of such a representative is in love with this brutal and primary motorcycles
- There are many discussions about this model of Suzuki, where caused by the problems of evil where languages and unfamiliar pattern Professionals “, by problems of satisfied owners of this sports motorcycle – Created by Suzuki with a single purpose, to be a competitor of DUCATI Italian SBK Championship in the world!
This motorcycle failed to lead to the top of SUZUKI so desired title WSBK! However, although this motorcycle is often criticized for its innovative approach of rear suspension that is taken largely from “civilian” version TL1000S, where they found many problems with the notorious rear rotary shock …….. …. but despite all these problems, and all the other shortcomings and negative aspects of the model, they always remain invisible to the owner of this motorcycle – a bike which they captured forever!
In this theme for my motorcycle and improvements thereon will try to tell you about everything I’ve done – those parts and details that had to be replaced, that the difficulties were overcome, how I’ve managed to combine it with other improvements made to it ! I make many recommended Mod-s on the motorcycle, which can be found easily in the Internet space and heaps of comments and literature models, but also had to deal with structural changes that no one and kept in secret – is I will willingly share them with you!

Is to review, I plan to make things on the list ……………………… Some items will not mention them because they are universally known pieces and articles!
3. Ceramic thermo wrap for exhaust system
This is Ceramic thermal tape that I use – a very high coefficient of thermal isolation, many of my colleagues using the most popular and easy to find glass bar which can also perform this function but with a lower coefficient of thermal insulation! Aim of “swathe “The exhaust system of a motorcycle (engine) is to raise its temperature – where should the effect of all this” mode “- in raising the temperature of the exhaust manifold and increases the permeability of gases through the exhaust system!
- Why selection will be the question (I also asked him some time ago)! - Here’s the explanation: the exhaust manifold (pipes) is hot in the center there, has the lowest resistance to the movement of gases, but farther from the center, the more the collector temperature falls, from where speed and reduces exhaust emissions and changed to some extent and flow of exhaust gases which certainly leads to losses and reduced power, the engine! When you run this “swathe” you allow the engine to make the most of the opening section of each manifold (exhaust, etc. .) of which is better and easier discharge of exhaust gas emissions and increasing efficiency – or the end result leading to a much desired addition of “+” column in horsepower.
4.WISECO High compression Pistons
These are – forged pistons with 0.2 millimeters in high forehead – for replacement parts that automatically increase the level of compression from 11,7:1 to 12:1. I want to emphasize that the TL1000R is the only sports motorcycle from Suzuki that series comes standard with forged pistons and creates very big problems if you replace with simple ones, for example by TL1000S, as odd as that sounds forged pistons are lighter by 12 grams. each and are about 10 times as strong, original wrought TL1000R withstand a piston and remains firmly at break even on the valves and meeting with all other parts inside, which actually saves a lot of care ………….……………
5.Squish – 0.7mm
This we can safely call it the “Cut the head and cylinder” to increase the degree of compression, how it is made:
- cylinder head of the engine have to grind 0.5 millimeters in reducing their size with more than 0.6 millimeters carries the risk the so-called “Leaky” of the water jacket of the head, but also “nip” the beds of inlet valves is not recommended! Because of this safe and recommended for compression is grinding to 0.4 millimeters of the cylinder head, how is “shortens” barrel: – in this case with TL1000R engine cylinder has two sides, one that falls from the bloc and one which accounts than to the head! Due to the fact that this engine is quite “robbed” of a stock of materials, standard options for “shortening” of waste and grinding is unacceptable – will remain your option to “shorten” the underside of the cylinder which lies to the block ( process is the forehead which is about toppings between the block and cylinder) – this whole operation is performed on Lathe – the aim should be to prepare mandrel – wood or any similar soft and safe material that does not harm the surface of the Cylinder! The allowable size reduction is 0.6 millimeters in greater “shortening” risk to Meet piston crown of the head with forehead …………………………….

Thank you for a very clear and helpful post. I am definitely a violator of many of these rules. I often find myself conflicted when writing a blog post because I see myself writing more than people want to read, but I feel that I have to do the subject matter justice by thoroughly covering it. I feel that by following some of these rules I end up cutting out important aspects to the discussion. I guess you have to find a balance.
I completely agree with the above comment, the internet is with a doubt growing into the most important medium of communication across the globe and its due to sites like this that ideas are spreading so quickly.
Thank you for your help!
Best you could edit the webpage subject title My Sportbike – TL1000R My Personal Project finished 2009 | Race Bike Tuning to more specific for your subject you make. I liked the blog post all the same.
Nice information presented in the post, thanks for sharing such a great post.
Not everyday do you encounter good writing with fun information like yours. You are really updated on the topics you write about which is very functional to many. Continue with the good work so we have something to hope for.
Hello. fantastic job. I did not picture this. This can be a remarkable story. Thanks!
I must say that overall I am really impressed with this particular site. You can easily observe that you are passionate about your writing. If perhaps I’d your writing ability I anticipate more updates and you will be returning.
I??¥ve never discovered so very much from any other website. Enjoyed reading this these days.
Getting a issue with the Feed, can you help me?
Your blog is really interesting to me and your topics are very relevant. I was browsing around and came across something you might find interesting. I was guilty of 3 of them with my sites. “99% of site managers are doing these five errors”. http://tinyurl.com/84ettp3 You will be suprised how fast they are to fix.
